Ames7184: yep, beginning of november...we went on our first date at the end of october...but we never were official till november
Ames7184: i needed some time to think after we broke up

Ames7184: kind of, but this time was different...it wasnt excessive flirting ;-)
Ames7184: it was hard for me to open up to him at first because i dont think i was quite ready yet...but we passed that mark a long time ago
Ames7184: we're actually going on a real date tonight...its beeen awhile because of $$$

Ames7184: our dates consist of chillin in each other's place, going to the library and studying, or going to the brew bayou/starbucks to study

Ames7184: im applying to go to grad school there just in case

joyota210: but Cost would be a much bigger issue
joyota210: scholarships aren't as abundant
Ames7184: yeah, thats the deciding factor for me and grad school too..i pay for all of it
Ames7184: im hoping MU will offer me a lot

Ames7184: large public schools dont offer as much as private schools in scholarships
Ames7184: plus im likely to get more because i did my undergrad here

Ames7184: this semester im volunteer translating at a dental clinic between the doctors and patients
Ames7184: its amazing!
Ames7184: plus im doing clinical hours in the speech and hearing clinic...i have my OWN clients!!!!!!!!
joyota210: oh cool so you finally got to start having your own clients! Thats so cool!
Ames7184: i love speech path and spanish, and i LOVE people, i love my job as a waitress, i love the residents i tak care of, i love lucas :-), and i love Marquette
Ames7184: and most importantly, i LOVE GOD :-)

Ames7184: anyway, im coming home all next summer, isnt that weird?
Ames7184: i have to take 3 classes at OCC too

Ames7184: i am taking 19 credit semesters (7 classes) until I graduate with my masters degree in '07, so i need to take some extra summer classes
Ames7184: and its cheaper to do that at home
Ames7184: plus i have 2 full-time jobs there
joyota210: is your residence still here?

joyota210: well it makes sense!
Ames7184: so im living with the fam next summer...woohoo
